Welcome to GreenfinchandRobin.co.uk. These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of GreenfinchandRobin.co.uk (hereinafter referred to as the ‘website’, the ‘site’, or the ‘shop’). By accessing, browsing, or shopping on this website, you agree to all the terms and conditions in this agreement. The site is operated by Greenfinch and Robin, of 10 Stone Street, Faversham, Kent, ME13 8PT (hereinafter referred to as ‘we’, 'our' or ‘us’).

These terms are effective as of 14th June 2021.

Intellectual Propert Rights

Unless otherwise indicated, the Site is our proprietary property and all source code, databases, functionality, software, website designs, audio, video, text, photographs, and graphics on the Site (collectively, the “Content”) are owned or controlled by us or licensed to us, and are protected by copyright and trademark laws. Except as expressly provided in these Terms of Use, no part of the Site and no Content or Marks may be copied, reproduced, aggregated, republished, uploaded, posted, publicly displayed, encoded, translated, transmitted, distributed, sold, licensed, or otherwise exploited for any commercial purpose whatsoever, without our express prior written permission.

Making a purchase from our online shop

Descriptions of our products can be found via our online shop, and the price per item and any delivery costs are clearly show, both here and on your basket. We attempt to be as accurate as possible with our descriptions, however, Greenfinch and Robin do not warrant that product descriptions and website content is accurate, free of errors, complete or current. If any product ordered from the site that you receive isn’t described as shown on the site, it can be returned – unused – as described in our returns policy below. As an exception to this, please note that our flowers are grown seasonally, and we are not able to provide accurate photos of each product on the site as our blooms change on a weekly basis. The flower arrangement you receive will have an equal monetary value to the example given, but may contain different varieties and colours to those shown.

To place an order, select the quantity you require of an item on the product page and click ‘Add to Basket’. You may view or edit your basket at any time by clicking the shopping bag icon in the top right corner of the screen. Once you are happy with your order, click the ‘checkout’ button to be taken to our payment processing.

We use Paypal and Stripe to provide our payment services. When buying through our online shop, you may pay via a Paypal account or check out as a guest, by clicking the checkout button in your completed basket. Payment will be taken immediately. Most credit and debit cards are accepted, although payment acceptance is governed by Paypal itself. Greenfinch and Robin have no access to your financial or card details. We recommend you read the terms and conditions provided by Paypal to ensure you are happy with how they collect and process your details.

We reserve the right to refuse any order placed through the Site. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household, or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same payment method, and/or orders that use the same billing or shipping address. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgment, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers, or distributors.

Dispatching your order

We will aim to dispatch you purchases from the shop within 3 working days of receiving confirmation of payment. Should we be unable to complete this we will contact you via the email address you supply to let you know. Purchases will be sent via Royal Mail as set out on our Delivery Page.

We are only able to dispatch orders of our cards and gifts to the UK.

Your right to cancel

You have the right to cancel your order with us without having to give a reason, up to 14 days after your order is delivered. Please inform us as soon as possible if you wish to return an item, via email, or our Contact Form. If you are in possession of the goods you are under the duty to retain them and take reasonable care of them. We will respond to your request within 3 working days, after which you must send the goods back to us, in their original condition, to our contact address at your own cost.

Once you have notified us that you wish to cancel the contract, any sum debited to us, minus any delivery charge, will be refunded to you as soon as possible and in any event within 30 days of our receiving the returned goods.

We reserve the right to make a charge not exceeding our direct costs of recovering the goods if you do not return the goods or return them at our expense.

Our flowers are a perishable item, and are created to order, and therefore once the item is dispatched you have no right to cancel. If you wish to make changes to your order once payment is complete, please Contact Us as soon a possible, and we will endevour to meet your requests if possible.

Govening law

These terms are governed by English law. Any contract for the purchase of goods from this site and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with any such contract will be governed by English law. You and we both agree that the courts of England and Wales will have non-exclusive jurisdiction. However, if you are a resident in Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in Northern Ireland, and if you are a resident in Scotland you may also bring proceedings in Scotland.
